Sofia “Sofi” Katherine Troglia, age 16, of Glencoe. Beloved daughter of Brian and Sarah Troglia. Loving sister of Bella and Ceci. Caring granddaughter of Lois and the late James Troglia of Westville, IL and John and Yvonne Held of Winnetka, IL. Cherished niece of Darin (Karen) Troglia of Westville, Rebecca (John) Scholtes of Gross Point Farms, MI and Laura Shaffer (Fiancé Doug Henley) of Durham, NC. Dear cousin of Jonah and Oliva Troglia, John, Jr. (Michelle) Scholtes, Margaret (David) Whittingham, and Becca and Catherine Scholtes, Thomas Shaffer (Fiancé Jody Kolberg), Lizzie (Daniel) Smith.
Sofi was a loving girl who had a great sense of humor. She adored animals, going to the park, Barney, Spongebob, music, and visiting the library. She loved to be around people and brought a smile to the many faces she met.
Funeral Mass: Wednesday, December 20, 2017 4:30 p.m. at Sacred Heart Church, 1077 Tower Road, Winnetka, IL 60093.
