WILMETTE – Rotary Club of Wilmette and Rotary Club of Wilmette Harbor are sponsoring suicide prevention signs at Wilmette and Kenilworth Metra stations. The clubs are partnering with Rotary District 6440 and the Union Pacific Railroad.
The signs include contact information for the National Suicide Prevention Hotline.
Recognizing this serious issue, which has affected many communities including the North Shore, the Rotary Suburban District is working to place signs at many Metra stations throughout Chicagoland.
