New Trier Township announced is hosting its 169th Annual Town Meeting on Tuesday, April 10, 2018 from 7 to 9 p.m. A reception and registration of guests begins at 6:30 p.m. This year the meeting will take place at the Arthur C. Nielsen, Jr. Campus of the North Shore Senior Center at 161 Northfield Road, Northfield.
The keynote speaker for the event will be Lonnie Stonitsch, executive director of the Family Action Network (FAN), a local non-profit that curates a free, human development speaker series that is open to the public.
Township Supervisor Alan Goldberg, Clerk Jerome Hoynes, Trustee Gail Schnitzer- Eisenberg and Assessor Jan Churchwell will deliver the annual reports. Goldberg, Clerk Jerome Hoynes and Brian Leverenz, community service administrator, will present the volunteer service awards and the Township’s Peer Jury Scholarship winner.
