Catherine Mary Noteman Wagner, age 50, of Wilmette, IL, died after a courageous 7 year battle with cancer Thursday, July 28th 2016.
Raised in Bloomfield Hills, MI, she graduated Marian Roman Catholic High School, and John Carroll University Shaker Heights, OH, where she met her beloved husband of 27 years, John R. Wagner.
Kathy was the loving mother of her treasured son John Reagan, and cherished daughters Corinne Elizabeth and Meredith Catherine Wagner. She was the devoted daughter of James and Mary Kay Noteman, dear sister of James (Mary Clare) Noteman, John (Kristine) Noteman, Andrew (Jacqueline) Noteman, treasured sister-in-law of James (Deborah) Wagner, Mary Julia (Edmundo) DaSilva, William, and Charles Wagner, special niece of Sr. Judith O’Brien, IHM, and caring aunt of many.
After settling as a newlywed in the Chicago area, Kathy joined Tiffany & Company, where during a 25-year accomplished career she achieved the level of Director. For many years, she taught Religious Education for Special Needs children at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Wilmette, IL, where she was also a member of the School Board and active in leadership roles for various fundraising activities and Parish events. She energetically participated as a fundraiser for the AVON Walk for Breast Cancer for over 10 years.
Visitation was Monday, August 1, 2016, 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Donnellan Family Funeral Home, 10045 Skokie Boulevard, at Old Orchard Road, Skokie, IL 60077.
Funeral was Tuesday, August 2, 2016 10:30 a.m. from Donnellan Family Funeral Home, 10045 Skokie Boulevard, at Old Orchard Road, Skokie, IL 60077 to Saint Joseph Church, 1747 Lake Avenue and Ridge Road, Wilmette, IL 60091. Mass 11:00 a.m.
Interment Calvary Cemetery, Evanston, IL
