As parents in District 39, we endorse four candidates for the District 39 School Board- Lisa Schneider Fabes, Mark Steen, Jon Cesaretti and Ellen Sternweiler.
These four candidates are individually committed to the high quality of education that the District 39 community expects and our students deserve. Collectively, they compliment one another with their experiences, viewpoints and skills and will provide a balanced, knowledgeable and inclusive board.
Each of these candidates has strong ties to District 39 schools and are informed about the systems and supports that have kept District 39 a premier school system with high outcomes and strong fiscal responsibility.
Most importantly, Lisa Schneider Fabes, Mark Steen, Jon Cesaretti and Ellen Sternweiler are not supported through funding or candidate training by external entities driven by partisan agendas. They will represent the community and students in District 39 and not any ideological interests.
We urge District 39 voters to support these four candidates to ensure District 39 has the leadership required to maintain our excellent school system.
