Athletes Go For Gold at Great Lakes Games

More than 150 athletes competed in the 20th annual Adult National Open and Great Lakes Regional Games for paralympic sports June 8-10 in Lake Forest and Wilmette. The event was hosted by the Lake Forest-based Great Lakes Adaptive Sports Association, and competitions took place at Lake Forest High School in Lake Forest and Loyola Academy in Wilmette.
